PROBLEM:
You receive the following error when opening a PDF in a browser:
"The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again."
SOLUTION:
1. Close all web browsers.
2. Use Start\Programs\Adobe Reader to run the program directly (instead of running Reader as an embedded function within the web browser).
3. Click on the Edit Menu of Reader.
4. Choose Preferences.
5. Click on Internet.
6. De-select (uncheck) the “Display PDF in Browser” option.
